This brochure contains results of the international conference Creation of mechanisms that strengthen the involvement of NGO Coalitions in the local government decision-making process throughout CEE “,which tool place in Yaremche,20 —22,July 2000 in the framework of People ’s Voice Project implementation under the auspices of the International Center for Policy Studies.

The aim of the conference was to develop skills and facilitate a dialogue of concepts that will allow NGO coalitions to become further involved in the decision-making process at the local government level.

The representatives of non-governmental organisations from such countries as Bulgaria,Kazakhstan,Moldova,Poland,Romania,Slovakia and Ukraine took part in the conference activities.Their work during the conference gave good materials for this brochure.
