“Business Development Agency” Association Office is a non-government non-profit organization founded in 2000 in the framework of TACIS EDUR 9802 project named “Assistance in softening social impact of coal-mining industry re-structuring by means of Donetsk oblast economic development in Ukraine”.

“Business Development Agency” Association Office functions in the same system with Business Development Fund (TACIS project) performing coordinated activity aimed at achieving common goals.

The NGO sees its mission in implementation of social, educational and other kinds of assistance programs in Ukraine delivered by international community and aimed at entrepreneurship development. Designing such projects, conducting them or participation in them are priority tasks of “Business Development Agency” Association Office. This mission is executed in close cooperation with both other TACIS projects and NGO partners who strive for achieving goals of social value.

Association staff helps Makiyivka residents to gain:

• Knowledge on how to launch one’s own business or develop the one that already exists;
• Skills of business organization and management;
• Opportunity to get practical assistance – this assistance is offered to everyone who wants to become an entrepreneur.

The NGO managed to select high professional personnel with sound knowledge and practical experience in different aspects of business. The NGO cooperated with experts form EU member-states. Together they make united team possessing unique collective international experience, capable of solving all vital problems of entrepreneur and social activity of city residents.

The NGO supports entrepreneurs, the jobless, especially women and young people in gaining business skills and provide them with legal advice and consultations on such issues as establishing, running and developing a business or an NGO.
